New York, NY - Talent2050 is pleased to announce that we completed the search for VP Ad Sales Strategy of Ad Sales Operations at Univision Communications Inc. The successful candidate is Olga Casabona.
Casabona will lead UCI's corporate strategic efforts to identify attractive revenue growth opportunities through innovative thought-leadership and analysis.
She will be the primary communicator of key insights into emerging media and advertising platforms to UCI senior management teams. Casabona will also help develop a strategic vision of future directions for our business. In addition, she will be responsible for management and operation of advanced advertising platform trials.
Over the past seven years Casabona led the Audience and Insights department for impreMedia. She held various roles culminating with her appointment as Vice President in 2009 and her relocation from Los Angeles to New York. While at impreMedia, Olga developed a new strategic consultancy approach, integrating insights and data from across business units to drive revenue and audience growth. She also led impreMedia’s first Audience Engagement Study in support of Sales strategy that identified new sources of revenue.
Prior to impreMedia, Casabona worked for McKinsey & Co. in Europe and the U.S. as an Information Specialist part of the Media & Telecommunications Practice. At McKinsey she provided project consultants with industry and company research as well as analytical tools and frameworks. Prior to that, Casabona was part of the Strategy Practice at Accenture, generating and utilizing research to assist consultant teams with strategic recommendations.
Over the past year Casabona led the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) Hispanic Research Committee which authored the “U.S. Latinos Online: A Driving Force”. This research has become an important resource, helping to increase the Hispanic digital ad spending pie.
